Storage Terms and Conditions

1. Rental Agreement

  • Minimum Period: 1 month
  • Agreement Type: License to use space (not a lease)
  • Renewal: Automatic monthly renewal unless terminated

2. Payment Terms

  • Method: Monthly via AutoPay/Direct Debit
  • Timing: Paid in advance
  • Late Fees: Apply to dishonored payments
  • Fee Increases: 14 days notice required

3. Access Rules

  • Hours: During facility operating hours
  • Security: Customer provides own lock
  • Restrictions: Access can be denied for non-payment

4. Customer Obligations

  • Must own or have authority to store goods
  • Keep unit clean and secure
  • Comply with all applicable laws
  • No business operations from unit
  • No subletting allowed

5. Prohibited Items

  • Hazardous materials
  • Illegal goods
  • Perishable items
  • Flammable/explosive materials
  • Living creatures
  • Firearms/weapons

6. Insurance Requirements

  • Customer Insurance: Required
  • Facility Coverage: Limited to facility negligence only
  • Goods Risk: Entirely with customer

7. Termination

  • Notice Period: 7 days written notice
  • Abandoned Goods: 42 days non-payment triggers disposal rights
  • Clean-up: Customer must leave unit clean

8. Liability

  • Goods stored at customer's risk
  • No bailment relationship
  • Customer indemnifies facility
  • Limited to willful damage by facility

Direct Debit Terms

Notice Requirements

  • 10-30 days for changes
  • Customer reversal rights: 120 days
  • Electronic delivery options available
  • Banking dispute processes specified

Additional Provisions

Privacy and Data

  • Personal information collection

Force Majeure
